Dan Varley is a Physiotherapist with over 15 years of clinical experience in the UK and internationally, specialising in Vestibular Rehabilitation and Neurological Physiotherapy. Dan works at an Advanced Practice level as a Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, leading specialist services in dizziness and balance disorders, hemiplegic shoulder pain and spasticity management.
Dan has completed master's level training in Advanced Clinical Assessment, Critical Thinking and Diagnostic Reasoning, enabling comprehensive assessment of complex presentations and evidence-based rehabilitation.
He is a Visiting Lecturer at London Metropolitan University and City St George's University, and serves as a Research Therapist on the national TRICEPS multicentre stroke rehabilitation trial.
Dan's specialist clinic is based at YOS Health, Tooley Street, London Bridge, SE1 2TZ.
Vestibular rehabilitation is a specialist form of physiotherapy that helps the brain and balance system recover from dizziness, vertigo and balance disorders.
Many vestibular conditions respond extremely well to targeted assessment and rehabilitation, restoring confidence, balance and quality of life.
Dan provides thorough assessments, clear explanations and tailored rehabilitation programmes. He evaluates the complete clinical picture including tinnitus, headaches, visual disturbance, brain fog and anxiety rather than treating dizziness in isolation.
